Great location, friendly staff. A short walk from Gare de Lyon. V.close to the metro. Lots of restaurants/cafés and sightseeing from the door ! This is central Paris and a budget stay hotel. It's a bit rundown, however be realistic about what you receive for the amount you've paid and you'll have a great stay as we did !
Stayed here during the Olympics. I hadn't booked in advance. I booked on a night by night basis. The rates stayed the same and were very cheap considering the Olympics were in full swing. The people working in the hotel were very approachable and accommodating. Located in an area within walking and cycling distance from numerous tourist areas.
To be honest i don’t think the ratings here do it justice, but this was the best value place to stay I could find in Paris at a decent price. The rooms were not big but a fair size for Paris, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The best part is the location, Bastille is a lively neighbourhood and the hotel is right by the metro. I’d only say this place isn’t for you if you have lots of luggage and stairs will be a problem, and the wifi isn’t that great. But apart from that, good stay. The shower was very good and plenty of hot water
A two star hotel with a five star heart and service. Although it looks a bit run down, this hotel is safe, clean and comfortable. You won't find better value for your money anywhere in Paris. And you can't beat the location— just a stone's throw from the Bastille metro station and a hop, skip and a jump from the Gare de Lyon. There's a fabulous crepe restaurant next door and several cafés within stumbling distance. The quieter rooms are in the back as rue de Roquette can get a bit rowdy at night.
Good hotel, our room was clean and modern and comfortable. Great location and for the price it was a good stay
